Why?

I originally wasn't going to have a blog. There were several reasons for this. First, I've never kept a journal, and this seemed too close in kind. Second, at 20 one might say a great number of things that one might regret at 22. Three, I don't feel like I have much to say.

But I need to find things to do (not much of a social/arts scene in Dhaka). And hearing from people is nice, sometimes. So I decided to start one, regardless of whether or not anyone will read it. Fair warning, it will mostly contain thoughts about things that I have read, am reading, or want to read. It may also contain the occasional thought on Bangladesh, Harvard, and other blogs on the internet. It will not be a journal of my summer in Bangladesh.

So feel free to post thoughts or comments.
